Where's Eldo Today?

Patiently ferrying Sparky back and forth to the hospital to see Kerry, the new mom, AND Sparky's first grandchild, a grandson. Eldy has three grandchildren of school age, he's been there, done that. He is experiencing the wonder and joy through Sparky's eyes this time around.

Kerry wants to maintain privacy for her baby, so we are keeping things general by not posting his name and other details. She says it's ok for me to post photos of him, though. Yay! So here is my adorable new grandson, three days old.....

Look at those little cheeks made for smooching!
For the next four days, we will be going back and forth to the hospital, helping Kerry with anything that she needs, so it's time for a little break from the blog. Mama Kerry needs lots of rest, and so does Grandma Jeannie! Grandma Jeannie is actually spending the night one night at the hospital so the baby's dad can go home and get some rest. So if you don't see a new daily blog for the next couple of days, we're busy at the hospital and/or worn out. Then we'll be helping Kerry back home if she needs it. Sparky will be walking their dog, doing laundry, and MAYBE cooking a meal or two. (Oh, boy, look out...Can you say, cooking what? E. wants to know.) Yep, that's gonna be a challenge. The baby's dad is Nepali, from India, and his tastes are quite a bit different than Sparky's choice for supper. (Which is to eat out, laughs Eldo.)

As I was saying....where was I? Oh... you can only post so many cute baby photos on a travel blog, right?  :-)  (Sparky might have to start a baby/grandchild blog, says E.) Heck I'm having a hard enough time finding time to write about crafts for the OTHER blog. (Millie's Girls) Kerry has told Gramma Jeannie that that's ENOUGH photos for now! "Enjoy the baby and quit taking so many photos, Mom!" What she forgets, is we are only here for three more weeks and then we will be heading out....I need all the photos I can get right now! Of course, they change so much so fast, the photos will be outdated soon. Sigh...Time to head back to the hospital to smooch my little grandson.....See you later...how much later, we're not sure......
