You are so right, there is lots of water in Maine. The trip was worth it though; we saw some beautiful countryside. If you want to see moose, pretend you're looking for elk!!! You're then bound to see moose. Our best moose sighting was in Alaska, and it was pure luck -- a minute earlier or later, and we would have missed it completely.
