Bye-Bye Yellowstone National Park

We're sad to say goodbye to Yellowstone, there was so much variety there to see--from geological formations, to hydrothermal features, to wildlife...but we're excited to be heading to the Tetons and Grand Teton National Park..... Here are a few of my favorite photos left from the Yellowstone park drives....

We only traveled about 120 miles to get to our new destination today...Teton Mountain View Lodge and RV Park in Tetonia, Idaho..It's a Passport America Park, so we have the very great rate of 46.00 for three nights, AND the VERY friendly, nice office manager said that should we decide to stay longer, she would give us the Passport America price for the weekend. GREAT! We're not sure if we are staying that long, but that was a wonderful gesture on the part of the park to offer that. We've read lots of RV Park Reviews where office management has been grouchy and down right unfriendly, and other cases where the office refuses to give a weekly rate to someone who decides to stay longer after paying for a couple of days, (Glacier Campground is one of those) so this was really nice to see. It's a plain park, very little shade, but nice facilities--laundry, a Direct TV in the activity room, a hot tub, good antenna TV reception, Verizon air card works well, AT & T phones work great, and it's FULL hookups for the price. We're going to head out to the Teton National Park Visitor's Center to get info and  check things out this afternoon...We'll let you know what we find...

Before we leave, here is one of my absolutely all time favorite photos from Yellowstone...It really makes a statement, don't you think?

  1. The van definitely makes a statement but so do your pictures. I think I need to take some photography lessons from you. These are outstanding!
